Lions helps bring smiles back to children

Our country, Srilanka faced a devastation on the 26th of December 2004. Tsunami wrecked ¾ of the coastal belt, killing more than 40,000 and displacing a million.
People are left without their loved ones and belongings. Children have lost both parents or single parent.
We, The Lions Clubs International – District 306A have been in the forefront supporting children as one of our major projects. We have collected information with regard to the children who have lost parents. This plea comes to all who can support the children by donating US$ 15 (Rs. 1,500/=) monthly per child and be a foster parent. The contribution will support them for their food, educational, clothing and other monthly needs. The payment must be done in full for 6monthly or for an annum.
We can provide details such as the background of the child and the address with photographs. Our work as Lions will be, to continuously send reports and information to you about the children’s progress.
If you’re interested we will provide you with the childs details.
Your kind assistance will be highly appreciated. You may forward all your correspondence to suriya_e@sltnet.lk (PDG Parakrama Kurukulasuriya)
